Rick’s Raingutter Service
A local SEO build for a family-owned copper gutter company in Los Angeles: a page for every service, every city it serves and the questions homeowners actually search.
Case study, food & retail, 2026
A custom bakery site with on-site Square checkout, pickup scheduling for two stores and a menu that changes with the seasons.

The challenge
A growing small-batch bakery needed to take pickup pre-orders online, open a second location without a redesign, and keep the warm, handmade feel of the brand. Store hours also had to stay consistent everywhere they appear, which the old site did not manage.
What we built
Card payments happen on the bakery’s own checkout page through the Square Web Payments SDK. The card is tokenized in the browser and a small Express service creates the Square order and payment on the server, so the access token never reaches the browser.
Every line item is re-priced from the Square catalog before a charge is made. If an item can’t be priced, the order stops instead of trusting the price the browser sent.
Each location has its own hours and pickup slots, kept in one place and shared by the order form, the footer, the contact page and the FAQ. A seasonal hours change is one edit.
Menu, events, custom orders, a blog and FAQs are all data-driven, so a new store or a seasonal menu drops in without design work.
